1. Check the mechanical structure
Spindle system: Check whether the spindle is balanced, the bearings are worn, and the shaft system is poorly aligned. If the spindle system is unbalanced or the bearings are worn, it will cause equipment vibration.
Disperser and balance wheel: Check whether the disperser and balance wheel are excessively worn. If the wear is severe, they need to be replaced.
Grinding media: Check whether the grinding media is too little or too much. Too little grinding media will cause permanent deformation of the dispersion shaft, and too much grinding media may affect the balance of the equipment.
Feed pump: Check whether the feed pump is severely worn or the feed pipe is blocked. If the feed pump is worn or the feed pipe is blocked, it will cause uneven material supply and cause vibration.
2. Check the installation and foundation
Foundation and anchor bolts: Check whether the foundation on which the equipment is installed is firm and whether the anchor bolts are loose. If the foundation is not firm or the anchor bolts are loose, it will affect the stability of the equipment.
Alignment of motor and rotor shaft: Check whether the motor shaft and rotor shaft are concentric. If not, they need to be realigned.
3. Check materials and processes
Material particle size: Check whether the feed particle size is too large and exceeds the maximum particle size that the equipment can withstand. If the particle size is too large, the equipment will be overloaded and cause severe vibration.
Material blockage: Check whether there is material blockage. If the material is blocked, the material should be cleared in time.
Feed speed: Check whether the feed speed is too fast. If the feed speed is too fast, the equipment will run unstably and cause vibration.
4. Check the electrical system
Motor problem: Check whether the motor vibrates too much. If the motor vibration exceeds 2um, the motor dynamic balance needs to be debugged.
Electrical control: Check whether the electrical control system is abnormal, such as whether the fuse is blown, whether the thermal relay is activated, etc.
5. Check the cooling and lubrication system
Coolant: Check whether the coolant is sufficient and whether the cooling system is working properly. Insufficient coolant or cooling system failure may cause the equipment to overheat, which in turn causes vibration.
Lubrication system: Check whether the lubrication system is normal and whether the lubrication is sufficient. Insufficient lubrication will increase friction and further aggravate vibration.
6. Other inspections
Resonance phenomenon: Check whether the operating frequency of the equipment is close to or equal to the natural frequency of the equipment, which may cause resonance phenomenon and lead to increased vibration.
Operation parameters: Check whether the grinding parameters are reasonable, such as grinding wheel linear speed, feed rate, etc. Unreasonable grinding parameters will affect the stability of the equipment.
