Triple Shaft Mixer

Introduction

TRANSOCEAN® Triple shaft mixer is a multi-functional mixer specially designed for the mixing and dispersing process of high-viscosity materials with poor fluidity. The 3 independently controlled stirring shafts of the TRANSOCEAN® Triple shaft mixer are respectively equipped with a screw propeller agitator, a high-speed disperser with a double-layer serrated high-speed dispersing disc/a rotor-stator mixer homogenizer, and a low-speed anchor agitator complete with PTFE scrapers. The three sets of stirring devices cooperate with each other to take into account the mixing tasks of materials with different properties. Among them, the screw agitator is used to force the powdery or granular material floating above the liquid to the bottom of the mixing vessel and mix it into the liquid material; the high-speed disperser/ rotor-stator mixer homogenizer forms a vortex around the rotor and sucks the surrounding materials and push them to the vessel bottom, and at the same time shear disperse/homogenize the powders or granules so that the solid materials can be completely dissolved as a liquid material to form a stable even dispersion; the anchor type low-speed stirring blade can effectively stir the materials far away from the screw agitator and the high-speed disperser/homogenizer, the PTFE scrapers can also clean the material sticking to the wall and bottom of the mixing tank, and push the materials near the tank wall to the center of the tank, force the materials at the bottom of the cylinder to move upwards, so that the materials can continuously circulate in the mixing cylinder, avoiding the formation of a mixing dead zone in the tank. After the materials with high solid content and high viscosity are processed by the TRANSOCEAN® three-shaft mixer, qualified products with stable and uniform properties can be quickly obtained.

Applications

TRANSOCEAN® Triple shaft mixers are suitable for mixing, high-speed dissolving, emulsification, and depolymerization of pastes, slurries, gels and suspensions with viscosity up to hundreds of thousands CPS in the production of construction putty, mortar, paint, caulk, sealants, printing inks, hot melt adhesive, magnetic medium paste, etc.

●Each stirring device is independently controlled and can be equipped with an inverter for speed regulation.

●PTFE scrapers can effectively prevent the materials from sticking to the wall, reduce the material loss, and relieve the workload of equipment cleaning.

●The parts in direct contact with the product are made of high-quality stainless steel.

●Two installation modes of mixing vessel are available for option: platform type and hydraulic lift type. The mixing cylinder of the platform-type triple shaft mixer is fixedly installed on the operating platform, which is suitable for the production of large-scale single-variety products; the material tank of the hydraulic-lifting-type triple shaft mixer can be moved by a forklift, which is suitable for the production of small batches of various products, which it convenient for cleaning the mixing device and changing products.

●The finished products can be discharged with a screw pump or the TRANSOCEAN® hydraulic discharge press.

●The volume of the mixing tank ranges from 1000L to 5000L, which can be customized.

●Spraying nozzles can be provided on the cylinder cover to clean the inside of the equipment before shutting down.

●According to the requirements of the production process, vacuum equipment can be equipped to remove the air bubbles mixed with the material during the stirring operation to obtain higher quality products.
