Introduction

lTRANSOCEAN® lab Nano bead mill is a Nano-level agitator grinding mill specially designed for research and development and small-scale testing of products in universities, scientific research institutions, and enterprise laboratories. The TRANSOCEAN® laboratory Nano bead mill integrates the functions of material premixing, grinding and cooling. The material feed pump drives the material to circulate between the mixing tank and the grinding chamber until the product fineness reaches the target value. The material contact part of the TRANSOCEAN® laboratory horizontal Nano sand mill is made of wear-resistant ceramics with high heat dissipation coefficient to ensure that the required grinding products are kept away from metal pollution. It is extremely versatile and can be used to process water-based, solvent-based, acidic, alkaline, heat-sensitive materials and insulating materials. The unique turbo rotor has a linear speed of up to 14m/s, which can quickly grind particles of about 50μm to Nanometer level. TRANSOCEAN® laboratory Nano sand mills are widely used in wet grinding in Nano coatings, UV inks, new energy batteries, color pastes, ceramics, food and other industries.

    

 

Equipment composition

lMain frame

The main frame is composed of base, column, beam, casters and supporting feet. The main body shell is made of SS304, and the frame material is made of powder coated carbon steel.

lMaterial preparation /circulation tank

The anchor type stirrer and mixing tank are used to premix the material prior to grinding process. Wetted and mixed materials are pumped to the grinding chamber via pipes. Output products from the Nano bead mill return to the mixing tank. Products go back and forth in this way.

lMechanical seal

The cartridge type double end mechanical seal characterizes reliable sealing performance and convenient replacement. Coolants compatible with the product (such as water, alcohol, ethyl acetate, etc.) are adopted for the lubrication and cooling of the mechanical seal. The coolant is driven by the pressure in the coolant storage tank and circulates in the closed channel between the cooling liquid storage tank and the mechanical seal. The cooling coil in the coolant storage tank cools the coolant to protect the machine seal from overheating. The pressure of the coolant storage tank is maintained by compressed air or nitrogen.

lGrinding chamber

The grinding chamber lining is made of SSIC with high thermal conductivity, wear resistance, high temperature resistance, and solvent resistance, and is equipped with a cooling jacket. Circulating cooling water is passed into the jacket to cool the products in the grinding chamber to take away the heat generated in the grinding process to protect the product from overheating. The cooling jacket, pipes are made SS304. The outer layer of the cylinder end cover is made of SS304, and the inner layer is made of SSIC.

lBead agitator

The bead agitator consists of the turbo rotor, zirconia grinding discs, zirconia centrifugal separator and zirconia spacers.

lDrive parts

A high-efficiency and energy-saving 2.2kW motor complete with an inverter is adopted for the drive within the speed regulation range is 0~2900rpm.

lFeed pump

The 1/4" pneumatic diaphragm pump transfers the materials from the material preparation tank to the grinding chamber via the pipeline. It consumes 0.25m³ compressed air per minute, and send 1~2L material per min.

lTemperature and pressure protection device

The measuring range of the electric contact thermometer is 0~100, and the upper limit of temperature can be set. When the temperature of the material exceeds the set upper limit, it will automatically shut down for protection.

The measuring range of the electric contact pressure gauge is 0~6 bar and the upper limit of the pressure can be set. When the pressure in the grinding chamber exceeds the set value, it will automatically shut down for protection.

lAir-cooled chiller

An air-cooled chiller is supplied to continuously cool the cooling water of the grinding chamber and the coolant of the machine seal.

lIntelligent operation control

The HMI is supplied for operation of the Nano bead mill. Actual current, speed, and running time are available on the screen. The running time, digital display mode, temperature, pressure, speed and other parameters can be set on the HMI. When the working time reaches the set time, the bead mill and the pneumatic diaphragm pump will stop.

lElectric control panel

Power supply: 3P/380V/50Hz. It adopts an IP54 built-in electric box design.

lSeals

All seals that may contact the solvent are made of quality fluorine rubber or PTFE.

lTransmission bearings

NSK (or equivalent level) bearings are adopted.

lPositioning device

The adjustable supporting feet are used for positioning of the whole machine.

lTRANSOCEAN® laboratory horizontal Nano bead mill adopts a modular design, which is easy to disassemble, easy to clean and sterilize.

lIt is installed on a mobile trolley, which is flexible and convenient to operate.

lThe grinding assemblies that directly contact the product are made of highly wear-resistant non-metallic materials, which protect the products from metal contamination.

lGentle grinding (cryogenic grinding) avoids changing product properties.

lThe shaft end of the rotor adopts a modular double-end mechanical seal, which is reliable in sealing performance and easy to replace.

lA detachable ceramic laminated separator is used to separate the product from the grinding beads. It is simple and convenient to clean and replace the ceramic laminated separator.
