TRANSOCEAN® double shaft ribbon mixer consists of a ribbon agitator with inclined blades and a frame mixer with scrapers, which are mounted axially and are controlled independently. It is applicable for processing of materials with very high viscosity (up to 100,000cps) in the industries such as lacquer, texture coatings, real stone paint, putty, mortar, adhesive, and alike.
Introduction
TRANSOCEAN® double shaft ribbon mixer consists of a ribbon agitator with inclined blades and a frame mixer with scrapers, which are mounted axially and are controlled independently. The ribbons drive the materials to move axially from the center to both ends, while the inclined blades create both axial flow and radial flow in the mixing vessel. The frame mixer stirs and sweeps the products adherent to the interior of the mixing tank to eliminate dead areas in the tank. Thanks to the comprehensive mixing functions, the materials with high viscosity and solid content can be uniformly mixed in a short time. It is applicable for wet mixing of various viscous and thick materials such as lacquer, texture coating, etc.
