Introduction

TRANSOCEAN^® butterfly dual shaft agitator consists of a saw-tooth disperser and a butterfly stirrer with scrapers. Each shaft is driven by a motor separately, and the speed is adjustable by an inverter. It is applicable for the processing of viscous materials such as putties, glues, etc. The disperser is used in the dissolution of powders, while the stirrer with scrapers can agitate the materials radially and axially and sweep the materials adhering to the wall and bottom of the vessel. The unique design ensures that materials at different heights in the mixing cylinder can be thoroughly mixed without dead areas, and that an extremely high heat transfer coefficient of the material surface can be achieved so as to avoid partial overheating. Vacuum equipment for simultaneous vacuum operation and a cooling jacket for material cooling are available as options.
