Introduction

TRANSOCEAN^® JWS series horizontal disc-type sand mills are applicable for super-fine processing of powders or granules in liquids. The mills are suitable for processing of the particle size range from 200 microns down to 5 microns or even less, with a wide range of grinding media from 0.3 mm to 1.6 mm in diameter. Products fed by a feeding pump are forced to flow horizontally through the grinding tank from the material inlet near the mechanical seal towards the other end and exit from the discharge port at the end of the grinding chamber while grinding media are retained in the mill by the centrifugal separator.

Applications

●TRANSOCEAN^® horizontal sand mills are suitable for wet grinding of Alkyd topcoat, alkyd primer, anticorrosive paint, color paste, water-soluble fertilizer, ink, pesticide, non-mineral filler, etc.

Features

● Materials of grinding discs and spacers can be customized according to the properties of the products.

● A cooling jacket outside the grinding chamber is provided to adjust material temperature.

● A pressure switch is available to prevent the mill from starting when the cooling water pressure in the cooking jacket is lower than the set value.

● An electric contact pressure switch at the material inlet in the grinding chamber is available to protect the grinding chamber from high pressure.

● An electric contact temperature switch at the product outlet is available to protect the products from overheating.

● Dynamic ring & static ring type separator is available as an alternative to the screen type separator for the discharge of products.

●Q: How about the finish of the surface of your machines?   

A: Carbon steel parts of our machines are primed and coated with heavy anti-corrosion paint, the surface of stainless steel parts is polished, and electric cabinets, as well as control panels, are coated with powder coatings. The color or the paint can be customized.

A: Ultrasonic flaw detector, a miniature magnetic yoke detector, a magnetic detector and a penetration detector.
