Introduction:
TRANSOCEAN® series basket grinding mills are suitable for supper fine processing of solids in liquids. The basket bead mills are applicable for grinding of the particle size range from 200 microns down to microns with grinding beads from 1.8 mm to 2.2 mm in diameter. The material tank can be loaded beneath the grinding basket for grinding when the milling head is lifted to the highest point. Materials to process are forced to move horizontally from the central axis to all around, and cycle vertically around the main shaft of the mill. Uniform processing of the products can be achieved under the comprehensive function of wetting, mixing, dispersing and grinding of grinding pegs and impeller. After products have been processed the material tank can be removed after the milling head is lifted.
Applications:
● TRANSOCEAN® LS series basket mills are suitable for small batch wet grinding in the industries such as paint, ink, color paste, adhesive and alike.
Features:
● The impeller forces the products to cycle in mobile tank, while grinding pegs drive ZrO2 beads to impact and grind the products.
● Less dead area in material tank
● Grinding basket is made of carbonitrided S.S.304 to significantly improve the corrosion resistance and wear resistance properties.
● Cooling jacket is provided on the movable tank for cooling of the products
● Cooling jacket outside grinding basket is available as an option
● Convenient to clean and change products
