Introduction

TRANSOCEAN^® explosion proof high speed dispersers are suitable for use in hazardous areas where flammable vapors, liquids or dusts are involved, such as the processing of coatings, oil inks and adhesives. The disperser consists of a flameproof control panel, an electric cabinet, a base plate or a mounting flange, a support column, a mixing head, a support rack, a mixing motor, a transmission system, a dispersing disc and a hydraulic lifting system. Buttons are provided on the control panel to realize start, stop, acceleration or deceleration of mixing disc, lifting or lowering of the mixing head. An inverter is available in the electric cabinet for speed adjustment from 0 to the design speed. The classic saw-tooth dispersing disc runs at a tip velocity up to around 25m/s and creates a vortex around the dispersing shaft and generates tremendous shear force to the materials to processed. A Nieman dispersing disc is available as an option. Wetting and dissolving of powders will be achieved in a short time. With the hydraulic lifting system, the mixing assembly can be raised to a certain position so that the material tank can be loaded or unloaded. A mechanical clamping arm for fixing of material vessel is supplied as an option. Lifting of the mixing head will be stopped when the limit loop on the guide bar contacts the limit switch. A mobile tank with lid or a platform mounted tank with lid is provided as an option for the processing of materials.
