Introduction

TRANSOCEAN^® hydraulic three roll grinding mill has three horizontal rollers i.e. feed roll, center roll and apron roll. Each roller rotates in an opposite direction from the adjacent roller with a tiny gap between them adjustable by the hydraulic system, which generates tremendous shear force to the materials to process. Viscous materials can be uniformly mixed, dispersed, squeezed, ground and homogenized by the mill. Materials are fed to the area between the feed roll and the center roll. Due to the limited space between the rollers, most of the materials are rejected to the loading area. A bit pastes running together with the center roll are subject to powerful shear and grinding force and thereafter pass through the gap and move towards the apron roll. After experiencing even higher shear force created by higher velocity of apron roll some of the pastes are passed on to the apron roll and the others are returned to the feed area. A discharge scraper automatically discharges the products from the apron roll and transfers them to the apron. The process will be repeated for several times until the solids in the products are evenly dispersed and the particle sizes are acceptable.

● A touch screen or a button control panel is supplied for the operation.

● Three rolls appear ladder-like arrangement.

● A separate cooling system is adopted inside each roll so that working temperature can be precisely set according to process requirements.

● Automatic shutdown protection will be activated if cooling water is interrupted, roll is overheated, motor is overloaded or impurities fall betweenrolls.

●Ultrasonic sensor is adopted to monitor material level. Automatic shutdown protection will be activatedif the level is lower than set value.
