Wetted parts of the silos are made of S.S.304 or S.S.316. Surface of the tanks are finished by polishing. The tanks are installed on platforms. A ball screw valve or a flange ball valve is supplied at the bottom of the vessel for discharge. A heat exchange jacket outside the tank and a dosing device are available as an option.
Structural design
1. Shape: There are usually basic shapes such as cylindrical and square. The cylindrical structure is conducive to the flow of materials and the stability of the silo, while the square structure is more convenient for layout in places with limited space.
2. Bottom structure: Common designs include flat bottom, conical bottom, bevel bottom and tray bottom. Conical bottom and bevel bottom are conducive to the emptying of materials, flat bottom is suitable for occasions where the emptying of materials is not required, and the tray bottom structure can better withstand the pressure of materials.
3. Top structure: It can be designed in the form of flat top, conical top or dome. The flat top structure is simple and easy to install equipment; the conical top and dome are conducive to drainage and prevent materials from accumulating on the top.
