How to solve the common faults of horizontal sand mill?

1. Blockage. Impurities in the material and worn zirconium beads are easily blocked in the gap of the discharge screen.

The inspection method for this type of fault is to remove the discharge screen and clean it with solvent or high-pressure water gun.

2. Wear of the rotor. Whether the material is a disc rotor or a pin rotor, there will be wear. The consequence of wear is the decrease in grinding efficiency. The solution is to replace a new rotor when the grinding efficiency can no longer meet the production needs.

3. Damage to the mechanical seal. The mechanical seal will fail due to various reasons, such as a. Poor assembly, b. Impurities in the cooling water of the mechanical seal destroy the sealing of the mechanical seal, c. The sealing ring inside the mechanical seal is of poor quality. The solvent in the material or the cooling medium corrodes the sealing ring, resulting in seal failure. The material and zirconium beads flow back into the mechanical seal, causing damage. d. The pressure of the cooling water of the mechanical seal is lower than the pressure of the grinding chamber, causing the material to flow back into the mechanical seal, causing damage.

The solution is to check whether the pressure of the machine seal cooling water remains at the normal value before starting the grinding machine in daily production?
