The blockage of kneading machine feed port is caused by long-term accumulation of materials. Before the blockage, the equipment will have unstable current and other phenomena. The more important work than dealing with the fault is to deal with the mild blockage of the feed port before the blockage. The unstable current of the kneading machine indicates that the feed port is about to be blocked. At this time, the feeding should be interrupted, and the equipment should be operated for 1 to 2 hours without load. Check whether the current is restored to the no-load current. If the no-load current is restored, it means that the material in the kneading machine is discharged cleanly. The equipment can be interrupted, the feed port can be disassembled for manual cleaning and reset to resume production. On the other hand, if the equipment continues to work without load, the trioxymethylene liquid can be entered to flush the feed port. After flushing, the inspection hole is opened to check whether it is clean. After cleaning, normal production can be resumed. The material adhered to the feed port is hard, and flushing cannot be cleaned. It is generally recommended to use the method of stopping the machine for manual cleaning.
After the equipment has been working for a period of time after interrupting feeding, the current has always remained at a high value and cannot drop to the no-load current, indicating that the feed port is blocked. It is dangerous to deal with the blockage when the equipment is working. First, interrupt the lower equipment, and then remove the reducer under the discharge port. The material at the discharge port of the equipment during operation may spray out at any time, so the personnel should stay away from the equipment as much as possible, use ropes and other tools to remove the reducer, and then close the lower pipe port to prevent the material from falling into and damaging the lower equipment. After removing the reducer, the personnel wear protective equipment and use tools to clean the discharge port from a distance. As the blocked material decreases, the discharge port will suddenly spray out all the materials in the machine, and the equipment current will drop to the no-load current in an instant, and the equipment can be interrupted. After recovery, it can be produced normally.
In the case of equipment blockage, the treatment method is to interrupt the equipment, open the equipment cover, clean up the materials inside the kneading machine barrel and the discharge port, and then resume normal production. However, this treatment method has a large workload, generally taking 18 hours, which is 4 to 5 times that of other treatment methods, which seriously affects the production time. Therefore, if the discharge port of the kneading machine is blocked, timely treatment should be carried out in the early stage to avoid blockage. Once blockage occurs, the treatment method should be selected to avoid accidents.
