There are a number of things to keep in mind when feeding material into a side-entry mixer. What should we pay attention to? Now let us briefly introduce its relevant knowledge points.
1. The side inlet stirring device should be especially careful when feeding. Heating material in empty cans or cooling material in hot cans should be avoided as much as possible.
Excessive temperature difference has a certain influence on the performance of enamel. At the same time, it should be ensured that no hard solid objects are transferred into the jug. If there is no need to add large hard materials, they should be added after crushing. When selecting a mixing vessel, the mixing equipment manufacturer should determine the shape and size of the mixing vessel based on the scale of production (i.e., material handling capacity), purpose of the mixing operation, and material properties.
When determining the volume of the mixing container, the charging coefficient should be reasonably selected to maximize the utilization of the equipment. If there is no special need, the pot body should generally choose a commonly used vertical cylindrical container, and choose an appropriate cylinder height-to-diameter ratio (or container liquid height-to-diameter ratio). If heat transfer is required, a jacket structure should be provided outside the kettle.
2. Pay attention when discharging the material. If the side-entry stirring device is blocked, you cannot use a metal tool to shovel it. You can poke it lightly with a bamboo or plastic stick or wooden stick. When cooling is required after the reaction, the cooling water must be pumped into the water jacket after the temperature naturally drops to a certain level
