Introduction:
TRANSOCEAN® LQM series vertical ball mills are widely used in processing of solids in liquids. The mills are applicable for grinding of various particles from 500 microns down to microns with a wide range of grinding media from ϕ5 mm to ϕ12 m. Raw materials can be loaded from the loading port on the top of grinding chamber by hand or with a feeding pump. Products are subject to strong click and shear from moving grinding balls stirred by grinding pegs in the tank. After the materials are processed the grinding chamber can be tilted to place the discharge port on the bottom of grinding tank at the lowest point to facilitate discharge of finished products with the gear and worm dumping mechanism. Open the discharge valve beneath the off-centered discharge port on the bottom of grinding tank to let products exit from the discharge port while the grinding balls are retained in the tank by the separating screen.

● TRANSOCEAN® LQM series vertical ball mills are applicable for wet grinding of highly viscous thixotropic materials such as oil ink, color paste, dye, etc.
