Lab horizontal sand mills are agitator grinding mills, which are used in pilot processing of solids in liquids. The materials are pumped into the grinding chamber by the screw beneath the silo, and then are subject to the shear and grinding force of the grinding beads stirred by the rotor in the grinding chamber. Processed products are extruded from the grinding chamber and return to the silo to repeat the processing process until the fineness is acceptable. Finished products are discharged from the grinding chamber while grinding media are retained in it by the separator. Fineness of the output products can be up to less than 1 micron.
Features:
● Ceramic stirrers and silicon carbide grinding chamber are supplied.
● No metal particles will be mixed into the products.
● A cooling jacket outside the milling chamber is adopted to cool down products.
