Introduction:

A lab double planetary mixer is a new type of high-efficiency multifunctional mixing equipment for pilot production of products with very high viscosity and solid content. It can conduct mixing, dispersion, dissolution, reaction, homogenization and kneading for multi-component solid-solid phase, solid-liquid phase and liquid-liquid phase materials. There are two planetary agitators (usually multi-inclined impeller, twist agitator or frame mixer) and one or two scrapers. The agitators revolve around the central axis of the mixing tank while rotating at high speeds around their respective axis at different velocities, which drive the products to conduct comprehensive movements. The scraper rotates around the central axis of the tank to sweep the materials from the inner wall of the vessel. Alternative agitating heads are available for option, such as dispersing discs and emulsifiers. Vacuum equipment is supplied for simultaneous vacuum de-aeration to enhance the product quality. For processing of heat-sensitive materials, a heat exchange jacket or a mold temperature machine can be supplied. Finished products are discharged by a hydraulic press.

Applications:

A lab double planetary mixer is widely used in pilot processing of materials with a viscosity of up to 1,000,000 cps and a solid content of up to 90% in the industries of new energy battery, metal slurry, chemical, pesticide, pharmaceutical, food, building materials and other industries, e.g. preparation of a variety of highly viscous products battery paste, aluminum silver paste, silicone ink, ointment, adhesive, sealant, grease, cream cosmetics, etc.
