The cooling system of the three roll mill is an important part of it, which is mainly used to control the heat generated during the grinding process to ensure the quality of the materials and the normal operation of the equipment. The following is the working principle and technical features of its cooling system:
Cooling system working principle
1. Hollow roller design:
The roller of the three roll mill is usually designed as a hollow structure to allow cooling water to pass through.
The cooling water flows through the inside of the roller, absorbs the heat generated during the grinding process, and thus reduces the surface temperature of the roller.
2. Cooling water circulation:
The cooling water flows into the roller from the high-level tank, absorbs heat through the channel inside the roller, and then flows out from the water outlet and flows into the low-level tank.
The cooling water in the low-level tank can be pumped back to the high-level tank again through the water pump, forming a cycle and saving water resources.
3. Temperature control:
The flow rate of cooling water can be controlled by a regulating valve to meet different grinding needs and temperature requirements.
Some advanced three roll mills are equipped with an automatic water inlet controller, which can automatically control the water supply and water cutoff of the water pump according to the water level of the high-level tank.
Technical features of cooling system
1. Independent cooling system:
Each roller is equipped with an independent cooling system, which can accurately control the cooling effect of each roller and ensure the stability and uniformity of the grinding process.
2. Constant temperature control:
The temperature of cooling water is controlled by constant temperature equipment to ensure the stability of the cooling water temperature, thereby improving the grinding efficiency and product quality.
3. Energy-saving design:
The recycling of cooling water reduces the waste of water resources and reduces the operating cost of the equipment.
4. Filtration and protection:
Filters are set at the inlet and outlet of the cooling water to prevent impurities from entering the cooling system and protect the rollers and cooling equipment.
