Planetary mixersare a novel type of high-efficiency non-dead-point mixing and mixing equipment. It characterizes a unique and novel design of stirrers. There are two or three multi-layer agitators and one or two automatic scrapers. While the agitator revolves around the axis of the mixing tank, it also rotates around its own axis at adifferent speed. Highspeed rotation makes the materials move in the vessel in a complicated way. Traditional planetary mixers are mostly composed of two low-speed mixing paddles, also called double planetary mixers. In addition to the traditional mixing paddles, other agitators such as dispersing discsand rotor-stator mixer are available as an option. Thus, planetary mixers can be applicable for various production processes.
