What are the common faults of Filling machine?

Jan 15, 2025

1. Inaccurate filling volume
Reason: flow meter failure, incorrect filling speed setting, inaccurate level sensor calibration.
Solution:
Check whether the flow meter is damaged, if there is a problem, replace it in time.
Recalibrate the level sensor to ensure that it accurately detects the filling level.
Adjust the filling speed to ensure that the set value is accurate.
2. Leakage or dripping
Reason: worn seals, loose valves, inaccurate filling head position.
Solution:
Check and replace worn seals.
Tighten the valve and adjust the filling head position to ensure a close fit with the container.
Check whether the valve in the filling head is damaged and replace it if necessary.
3. Filling machine does not work or works intermittently
Reason: electrical short circuit, sensor failure, damaged control panel.
Solution:
Check whether the electrical components have loose wires, blown fuses or tripped circuit breakers.
Check whether the sensor is damaged or loose, and repair or replace it if necessary.
Check whether the control panel is working properly and replace it if necessary. 4. Bubbles or foam during filling
Cause: Air entrained in the liquid, changes in product viscosity.
Solution:
Use defoamers to reduce bubble formation.
Install a degassing chamber before filling to remove air from the liquid.
Adjust the filling speed to reduce turbulence and air entrainment.
5. Filling head blockage
Cause: Product accumulation, foreign matter entering the filling system.
Solution:
Clean the filling head and nozzle to ensure smooth flow.
Check the filling system for foreign matter, remove and clean thoroughly.
6. Unstable filling level
Cause: Insufficient feed in the trough, liquid level sensor failure.
Solution:
Increase the feed amount, adjust the filling time, and slow down the filling speed.
Check whether the liquid level sensor is accurate and recalibrate if necessary.
7. Mechanical component failure
Cause: Bearing wear and gear damage.
Solution:
Check the wear of mechanical components regularly and replace them if necessary.
Lubricate bearings and gears to extend service life.
8. Electrical failure
Cause: Circuit short circuit, motor failure.
Solution:
Check whether the electrical connection is firm and remove dust and debris from the circuit.
Replace damaged electrical components in time.
Preventive measures
Regular maintenance: Regularly check and replace worn parts to ensure the normal operation of the equipment.
Operator training: Ensure that the operator is familiar with the equipment operation and maintenance procedures.
Environmental control: Keep the temperature and humidity of the equipment operating environment stable and avoid dust and pollutants.
