1. Mechanical aspects
Grinding media problems: Grinding media may wear and break after long-term use, resulting in reduced grinding efficiency, and may even block the discharge port or affect the normal operation of the stirring shaft.
Failure of stirring components: The stirring blades may become loose, deformed or broken due to long-term high-speed rotation and the impact of ink, resulting in uneven stirring, affecting the grinding effect, and may also cause equipment vibration and abnormal noise.
Bearing wear: After long-term operation, the bearings are prone to wear due to insufficient lubrication, excessive load, etc., resulting in unstable equipment operation, noise and vibration, and in severe cases, the stirring shaft may not rotate normally.
2. Electrical aspects
Motor failure: The motor may have problems such as winding short circuit, open circuit, overheating, etc. during long-term operation, resulting in the motor failing to start normally or unstable speed during operation, affecting the overall performance of the equipment.
Electrical control system failure: Relays, contactors, inverters and other components in the control circuit may fail, resulting in the equipment failing to operate according to the set parameters, such as failure to adjust the speed, failure to achieve automatic start and stop, etc.
3. Materials and process
Ink characteristics: If the ink viscosity is too high or the pigment content is too high, it will increase the load of the equipment, causing motor overload, reduced grinding efficiency, and even the equipment to fail to operate normally.
Material blockage: If there are too many impurities in the ink or agglomerates are generated during the grinding process, the discharge port or pipeline of the grinding chamber may be blocked, causing pressure to increase and affecting the normal operation of the equipment.
