What are the consequences of overloading the mixing machine?

1. Motor damage
Excessive current: Overload operation will cause the motor current to exceed the rated value, causing the internal temperature of the motor to rise, thereby accelerating the aging of the insulation material and shortening the life of the motor.
Thermal protection tripping: When the motor is overloaded, the thermal protection device may trip frequently, causing the equipment to fail to operate normally.
Motor burnout: In extreme cases, overload may cause the motor winding to burn out or even cause a fire.
2. Mechanical component damage
Bearing failure: Overload will cause the bearing to bear greater pressure, causing increased bearing wear or even damage.
Bending of the mixing shaft or blades: Overload may cause the mixing shaft or blade to bear excessive torque, causing bending or deformation.
Mechanical seal leakage: Overload may cause the mixing shaft to bend, which in turn causes poor contact between the dynamic and static rings of the mechanical seal and leakage.
3. Equipment performance degradation
Poor mixing effect: Overload operation may cause the mixing machine to fail to work properly, the mixing effect to deteriorate, and affect the uniformity of the material.
Reduced equipment efficiency: Overload will reduce the operating efficiency of the equipment, increase energy consumption, and reduce production efficiency.
4. Safety hazards
Risk of electric shock: Overload may cause electrical system failure, increasing the risk of electric shock.
Mechanical injury: Overload operation may cause the equipment to lose control, causing mechanical parts to suddenly stop or fly out, causing personal injury.
5. Other risks
Fire risk: Overload operation may cause electrical short circuit or motor overheating, thereby increasing the risk of fire.
Shortened equipment life: Long-term overload operation will accelerate the wear of various parts of the equipment and shorten the service life of the equipment.
