What are the key points of operation and maintenance of Vertical bead mill?

Apr 02, 2025

1. Preparation before operation
1. Check the equipment:
Confirm whether the rotation direction of the main motor and pump motor is correct.
Check whether the cooling water is unobstructed and whether the cooling water valve is open.
Check whether the connecting bolts are tightened and whether the lubrication points are lubricated normally.
Ensure that the material conveying pipeline is firmly connected and leak-free.
2. Personal protection:
Operators need to wear personal protective equipment such as work clothes, safety shoes, gloves, protective glasses and masks.
Long hair and loose clothing should be properly fixed to avoid being caught in the equipment.
3. Equipment preheating:
After long-term disuse, it should be circulated with thin materials for 30 minutes before starting, and then cleaned and added.
2. Precautions during operation
1. Start-up sequence:
First, pass cooling water, then pump the material into the sand mill barrel, and finally start the main machine.
No one is allowed to stand around during startup to avoid accidents.
2. Monitor equipment status:
During the sand milling process, the temperature and pressure of the equipment should be monitored to ensure that they do not exceed the specified value.
If abnormal sound or equipment failure is found, the machine should be stopped immediately for inspection.
3. Material handling:
It is strictly forbidden to operate the sand mill without load, without cooling water circulation, or with illness.
When sanding materials of different colors or types, the equipment should be thoroughly cleaned.
4. Safe operation:
During the sanding process, if leakage occurs at the connection of the pipeline valve, the machine should be stopped immediately for maintenance.
When using a mobile cylinder for sanding, static protection should be done first.
III. Maintenance after operation
1. Cleaning equipment:
After the material is ground, the equipment should be cleaned to avoid material residue.
During cleaning, the disperser can only rotate slightly and intermittently to reduce component wear.
2. Equipment maintenance:
Regularly check the lubrication system of the equipment and add an appropriate amount of lubricating oil.
Check the wear of vulnerable parts (such as grinding beads, dispersion discs, screens, etc.) and replace them if necessary.
3. Long-term outage:
When out of service for a long time, the cooling water should be drained to prevent freezing.
After the equipment is stopped, the solvent should be kept in the barrel to avoid damage to the dispersion shaft.
4. Daily cleaning:
After work every day, wipe the appearance of the machine with clean water to remove dust and dirt.
