Do I need to clean the horizontal sand mill when changing colors?

The horizontal sand mill needs to be cleaned when changing colors, how to clean it? Here are some simple and practical methods.
1. Prepare resin
Prepare the resin according to the requirements of the recipe, put the required amount of resin into a clean premix tank.
2. Varnish cycle (or one pass)
3. After connecting the varnish tank to the sand mill, start the feed pump to form a varnish cycle of varnish tank-feed pump-cylinder-varnish tank or varnish tank-feed pump-cylinder-abrasive tank, and jog regularly turntable.
4. Solvent circulation
① According to the formula requirements, prepare the corresponding solvent type and quantity in a clean oily general-purpose barrel;
② When the varnish in the varnish tank is 0.5-1 liter, add 1/2 of the prepared solvent to the varnish tank to establish a solvent cycle. During the solvent cycle, periodically jog the turntable;
③Take out the solvent at the exit with filter paper every 1 minute, A: When the two adjacent colors are the same, import the solvent into the abrasive tank or the waste solvent barrel (depending on the requirements of PWS determination); B: Compared with the standard color plate, If the color is the same as or lighter than the standard color plate, it can be converted to 5;
④ When there is still about 0.5 liters of solvent in the tank, add 1/2 of the solvent to the tank;
⑤ When there is almost no solvent in the tank, follow the operating procedures to "shut down" the shutdown procedure.
