How should the lubrication system of the mixing machine be maintained in winter?

Feb 19, 2025

1. Check the state of the lubricating oil
Check the oil volume: Make sure that each lubrication point (such as the mixing shaft, reducer, pneumatic device, etc.) has enough lubricating oil.
Check the oil quality: In winter, lubricating oil that meets the low temperature requirements should be used. When the ambient temperature is below 10°C, it is recommended to use No. 1 lithium-based lubricating oil; when it is above 10°C, use No. 2 lithium-based lubricating oil.
2. Regularly replenish and replace lubricating oil
Replenish lubricating oil: Use a special refueling gun to add lubricating oil through the filter to ensure that the oil dripping amount of the oil mist device meets the requirements.
Replacement cycle: According to the use of the equipment, the lubricating oil should generally be replaced every 500 hours of work.
3. Check the lubrication system components
Check the oil mist device: Make sure that the inlet and outlet of the oil mist device are not reversed, the pipeline is not blocked, and the oil dripping amount is normal.
Check the seals: Check whether the shaft end seals and other rubber seals are aging. If there is a slight leak, they must be replaced immediately.
4. Daily maintenance of the lubrication system
Daily inspection: Check whether the lubricating oil of each lubrication point is sufficient every day, and replenish it in time if necessary.
Regular cleaning: Clean impurities in the lubrication system regularly to ensure the cleanliness of the lubrication system.
5. Lubrication and maintenance of air compressors
Check the oil level of the air compressor: Make sure that there is enough oil in the crankcase of the air compressor and it must not be lower than the lower limit of the sight glass.
Replace the oil: Use oil that meets the winter viscosity according to the nameplate requirements of the air compressor.
6. Other precautions
Preheating the equipment: Before using the Mixing machine in winter, let the equipment run at no load for at least 30 minutes to ensure the normal operation of the lubrication system.
Insulation measures: Insulate the key components of the lubrication system to prevent the lubricating oil from freezing.
