The design and selection of the stirring device is closely related to the purpose of the stirring operation. Various mixing processes need to be realized through the operation of different mixing devices. When designing and selecting, first determine the type of mixer, motor power and mixing speed according to the purpose and process requirements of the mixing operation, and then select the reducer, frame, stirring shaft, shaft seal and other components. Specific steps are as follows:
1. Select the type of agitator according to the process conditions, mixing purpose and requirements. When choosing the type of agitator, you should fully grasp the dynamic characteristics of the agitator and the causal relationship between the flow state of the agitator during the agitation process and various agitation purposes.
2. According to the determined agitator type and the flow state generated by the agitator during the agitation process, as well as the control requirements of the agitation process for agitation time, sedimentation velocity and dispersion, the motor power and agitation speed were determined through experimental means and computer simulation design and stirrer diameter.
3. According to the motor power, stirring speed and process conditions, select and determine the reducer model from the reducer selection table. If the reducer is selected according to the actual working torque, the actual working torque should be less than the allowable torque of the reducer.

6. According to the installation form and structural requirements, design and select the structural type of the stirring shaft, and check its strength and rigidity.
If it is designed as a rigid shaft, N/NK≤0.7 under the condition of meeting the strength requirements

7. Select and install the bottom cover, flange seat or flange flange according to the nominal central dimension DN of the frame, the bearing type and pressure level of the stirring shaft
8. Determine whether to configure an auxiliary support according to the support and anti-vibration conditions.
In the above selection process, the key connection dimension between components in the configuration process is the shaft head size. In principle, all components with the same hub size can be interchanged and combined.
