Situation 1. After the skeleton oil seal leaks, confirm that the connection part of the coolant joint on the oil cap does not leak oil, wipe off the residual oil under the oil cap, put a piece of white paper about 25 cm long and 4 cm wide under the oil cap, and start the engine. Host 20~ Observe whether there is oil in the white paper for 30 minutes. If there are traces of oil, you should carefully observe whether it is oil or butter, and determine whether it is residual oil or skeleton oil seal leakage according to the oil traces on the white paper.
Treatment method: The skeleton oil seal and the dynamic ring of the mechanical seal are dynamic seals. There is a small amount of oil leakage, and it is normal to leak a drop within 30 to 40 minutes. If there is too much leakage, the skeleton oil seal needs to be replaced. At this time, pay attention to observe the matching position of the dynamic ring of the mechanical seal and the skeleton oil seal, and whether there are deep wear marks on the outer park of the dynamic ring. .The moving ring and skeleton oil seal should be replaced together.
Situation 2. When the coolant returns from the oil cap on the base to the tank, it splashes onto the oil on the base cap. Due to the tension of the oil, the oil moves in all directions and flows along the discharge pipe.
Treatment method: Add a layer of plastic film under the oil cover to prevent the oil from splashing anywhere.
Situation 3. You can directly observe the oil leakage at the connection part of the coolant joint on the oil cover, or you can press a napkin on the root of the joint to see if there is oil on the paper towel.
Treatment method: Remove the connector, wrap a small amount of fine hemp thread or cotton yarn around the root of the connector thread, and then wrap a small amount of PTFE tape on it.
